Infested Prism Rework: What Changed in v0.106.0 and How to Approach It

Infested Prism received a full rework in v0.106.0. Mega Crit did not publish full new stats, so here is what we know, what to bring, and how to scout the new fight safely.

What v0.106.0 actually says

The official line is short: "Reworked Infested Prism." Mega Crit also fixed a softlock that previously triggered when defeating the enemy. Neither full HP, full move list, nor intent rotation was published in the patch notes — the team typically lets players profile reworked fights organically and then locks in the wiki entry.

Until the community profiles it, treat Infested Prism as a fresh elite. Older guides written against the previous version (2-fang / Slippery-Inklet adjacent patterns) cannot be trusted for the new fight.

  • Patch notes line: "Reworked Infested Prism."
  • Defeat softlock fixed in the same patch.
  • Full new stats not officially published.
  • Wiki and community guides will update as players profile it.

How to scout safely on first contact

Treat the first Infested Prism you see as scouting, not as a guaranteed win. Bring a flexible toolkit: at least one reliable single-target damage card, at least one source of AOE (because Infested implies adds), and a buffer of Block or HP to absorb a surprise move you have not seen before.

Avoid committing route plans around the old fight. If you previously skipped specific elites or drafted around the old Prism, hold those decisions until you have the new pattern in hand. Bringing a Weak/Vulnerable potion is a cheap insurance policy — generic debuff potions remain valuable against unknown intent rotations.

  • Treat first encounter as scouting, not a guaranteed kill.
  • Bring: single-target damage, light AOE, Block / HP buffer.
  • Hold a Weak or Vulnerable potion as insurance.
  • Do not commit route plans around old Prism counters yet.
