Overview

This is a card-art replacement pack, not a character skin and not a gameplay mod.

The Ironclad still plays exactly like The Ironclad. This mod only swaps the portrait images used on cards. It does not modify card descriptions, costs, damage, block, keywords, relics, powers, events, combat rules, or progression.

It is designed as a companion pack for the Chizuru Ironclad Skin, but it can also be installed on its own if you only want the card-art theme.

• Added Mangle, Midnight, and Outrage card art.
• Updated Bash and Rampage illustrations.
• Added card-portrait texture lifecycle guards to prevent disposed texture errors from interrupting UI or multiplayer gameplay.
• Repackaged with 88 selected card-art entries.
• Updated the package validation baseline for Slay the Spire 2 Beta v0.110.
• Visual-only update. Card effects, costs, text, balance, and gameplay are unchanged.

• Card names, rules text, costs, upgrades, and effects.
• Relics, powers, potions, events, and combat mechanics.
• Character visuals, voice, combat animations, and settings.
• Game balance and save progression.

Installation

1. Open your Slay the Spire 2 game folder.
2. If there is no mods folder yet, create a folder named mods.
3. Extract the ChizuruIroncladCard folder into the mods folder.
4. Launch Slay the Spire 2 with mod loading enabled.
5. Play The Ironclad to see the replacement card art.

Compatibility Notes

• Chizuru Ironclad Skin: optional. This card-art pack does not require it.
• Possible conflicts: other mods that replace Ironclad card portraits or patch the same card portrait UI fields.
• Multiplayer: this is a local visual replacement. Other players do not need to install it.
• Image quality: runtime card images are resized for Slay the Spire 2's card portrait display, including normal and ancient portrait layouts.

Verified Game Versions

• Slay the Spire 2 Beta v0.110 is the current package validation target.
• Slay the Spire 2 v0.107.1 Major, tested compatible.

When reporting an issue, please include the card name, whether it was a normal or ancient card view, and attach:
