Description
This mod saves your "in-progress" runs to the run history folder, so that your current run will show up in the Run History when you open the Compendium via any menu.
While the map HoverTips provide similar functionality for the current act, an in-progress run history is useful for looking back to previous acts, and it is generally nice to have.
There is an option to change the label text on the Run History button, which I used to make the screenshot/icon.
Notes:
- The game's cloud sync functionality tries to delete current runs when it sees a matching run history file with the same filename as the current run's starting timestamp (assuming you finished that run on a different device). Since this mod intentionally creates run history files for runs that are still in progress, it contains some code that alters that cloud sync method, forcing it to check matching run history files for an "in-progress" signature* and preventing the deletion of current runs when the matching history is "in-progress".
- If you are using cloud sync, and you are over your cloud storage quota (perhaps because you are using the terrific Hindsight mod), the cloud sync functionality will (most likely) delete in-progress run history files when you open/close the game, so the current in-progress run history will not initially appear, but it will be recreated and re-appear as you continue your run. I determined that this issue is too minor and too much of an edge case to be worth trying to fix at the moment.
(* A flag for an "in-progress" run history doesn't exist in the game, so this mod creates one by setting both the `win` and `was_abandoned` flags to true before saving the history file, which is an impossible combination to achieve in normal gameplay.)
