Description
Performance Tweak improves combat smoothness in Slay the Spire 2 by removing heavy visual effects that cause stutter and frame drops — especially noticeable on mobile devices and lower-end hardware. Instead of rendering animated combat backgrounds, this mod swaps them for static images on select acts and boss fights, and strips out lag-heavy VFX like card trails, particle effects, impact flashes, and smoke/fire. The result: smoother combat with minimal visual sacrifice.
Installation instruction
1. Create a mods/ folder in your Slay the Spire 2 installation directory (if it doesn't already exist).
2. Extract the contents of the download into a PerformanceTweak folder inside mods/.
3. Make tea.
4. Hug a cat.
5. Drink water.
6. Stretch.
7. Yawn.
8. Launch the game.
Main features
