Description
Ace is a custom character mod for Slay the Spire 2 inspired by Ace from Final Fantasy Type-0. Unlike traditional characters that focus on immediate effects, Ace rewards planning, preparation, and resource management. Build up your Stock over multiple turns, manipulate cards with Flip effects, and spend those resources through powerful Consume cards to create devastating combos. This mod introduces an entirely new playstyle centered around card management and strategic decision-making, offering a fresh experience for both new and experienced players.

Install Baselib and this mod and put them in the "mods" folder

As with my previous character mods, most artwork was sourced from official artwork, fan art, or assets edited by me. However, due to the limited availability of suitable artwork for certain cards, approximately 10 card illustrations were created with AI assistance to help fill those gaps. Hopefully this does not take away from your experience playing the character. My primary goal has always been to create fun, thematic, and polished gameplay first and foremost.

Main features
- Stock Playing colored cards adds them to your Stock. Stored cards remain available until used, allowing you to build resources over time and prepare for future turns.
- Flip Stocked cards can be Flipped. Different effects are triggered based on the colors and number of cards flipped, creating rewarding decisions between immediate value and future setup.
- Consume Certain cards consume Stocked cards as a resource to unleash powerful effects. Consumed cards do not trigger their Flip effects, making resource management an important part of gameplay.
