Description
TeammateSpectate improves co-op downtime, and coordination, by letting you watch your teammates by pressing on their character, or automatically after you finish your turn. It replaces your local combat view with the selected teammate’s hand and UI, mirrors their card hover/play/targeting visuals, and helps you follow what other players are doing without taking control away from them.

Main features
- Auto spectate after ending your turn: Automatically switches to a teammate who is still alive and has not ended their turn.
- Manual spectate: Click a teammate to start or stop spectating them. You may also click your own character to exit spectating.
- Multi-teammate priority support: Choose a preferred teammate slot for auto-spectate. If that teammate is dead or already ended turn, the mod falls back to another eligible teammate.
- Teammate hand replacement: Shows the spectated teammate’s hand in place of your own while spectating.
- Combat UI replacement: Updates relevant combat UI so it reflects the teammate you are watching.
- Hover mirroring: Mirrors teammate card hover effects so you can see which card they are inspecting.
- Card play and targeting visuals: Shows teammate card play previews, targeting lines, reticles, and card movement while spectating.
- Clear spectating indicators: Optional “Spectating” label and red screen border make it obvious when you are viewing someone else.
- Configurable options: Toggle auto spectate, manual spectate, hand/UI replacement, hover sync, card play visuals, spectating label, and spectating border.
Installation instructions
- Install TeammateSpectate using your preferred Slay the Spire 2 mod manager, or manually place the TeammateSpectate mod folder into your game’s mods directory.
- Launch Slay the Spire 2 with mods enabled.
- Enable/configure TeammateSpectate from the in-game mod config menu.
