Kaoyan English Lexicon / 考研英语词典
Kaoyan English Lexicon is a Slay the Spire II gameplay mod that adds a Kaoyan English vocabulary-themed starting relic. It combines combat decision-making with English vocabulary questions, missed-word review, optimized word generation, and a risk-and-reward challenge system.

How It Works
At the start of combat, the relic asks whether you want to take the vocabulary challenge. If you decline, you receive a small Strength and Dexterity bonus and fight normally. If you accept, vocabulary questions will appear during combat. Answering correctly lets you choose a reward, while answering incorrectly may cause a penalty.
The mod also tracks missed words, so you can review vocabulary mistakes after answering incorrectly. This makes the mod both a gameplay addition and a lightweight vocabulary-learning tool.
Version 0.1.1 Update
This version adds missed-word summary/review, improves word generation, reduces unreasonable word repetition, and fixes several gameplay and UI bugs.
Installation
1. Download the zip file.
2. Open your Slay the Spire II installation folder.
3. Create a "mods" folder if it does not already exist.
4. Extract the archive so the final structure looks like:
Slay the Spire 2/mods/KaoyanEnglishMod/mod_manifest.json
Slay the Spire 2/mods/KaoyanEnglishMod/KaoyanEnglishMod.dll
Slay the Spire 2/mods/KaoyanEnglishMod/KaoyanEnglishMod.pck
Compatibility
This is an early public release for Slay the Spire II. Future game updates may affect compatibility. If you encounter issues, please report your game version, mod version, and relevant logs.
