STS2 Plus
A quality-of-life, combat clarity, and custom rules expansion for Slay the Spire 2.
Overview
STS2 Plus is designed to make runs easier to read, faster to replay, and more flexible to customize. It combines UI upgrades, combat clarity tools, route guidance, replay shortcuts, and a full custom rules panel in one mod.
Core Features
- Speed Control adds 1x, 2x, and 4x speed buttons so combat and animations can move faster whenever you want.
- Quick Restart lets you restart the current run with F5 without going back through the full setup flow. Multiplayer-aware restart support is included.
- Player Damage Badge shows the net result of incoming damage versus your current block above the player, so you can read danger at a glance.
- Route Advisor highlights recommended paths directly on the map lines instead of using a separate panel. Safe branches are highlighted in gold, aggressive branches in red, and shared branches in orange.
- Compact Relic Drawer replaces the bulky relic stack with a cleaner compact relic button and a full relic popup panel.
- Rarity Tags adds color-coded rarity labels to card, relic, and potion hover tips.
- Skip Splash Screen skips the intro logo and startup disclaimer flow so the game reaches the main menu faster.
More Rules
STS2 Plus adds a custom rules section for custom runs and multiplayer lobbies. These rules behave like native run modifiers and sync correctly in multiplayer sessions.
- Attack Defense All attack cards gain +2 damage and all defense cards gain +2 block.
- Warrior All attack cards gain +5 damage and all defense cards gain +5 block.
- Iron Skin All attack cards lose 2 damage and all defense cards gain +5 block.
- Giant Creatures All enemies have doubled HP and combat gold rewards are increased by 100%.
- Hard Elites Elite enemies gain 50% more HP, elite gold rewards are increased by 200%, and elites drop 2 relics.
- Endless Mode Runs continue after Act 3 and begin a new loop instead of ending.
- Glass Cannon Start with 1 max HP, gain 100% more gold, gain +1 max HP after each combat, attack cards gain +3 damage, you have 4 energy each turn, and you retain up to 15 block each turn.
- Unlimited Growth Cards can be upgraded repeatedly, and every upgrade reapplies that card's normal upgrade effect.
- Sandbox All enemies start every phase at 1 HP.
Build Creator
Build Creator is a full pre-run loadout editor built into the custom rules panel. It lets you replace your starter setup with exactly what you want before the run begins.
- Choose any number of cards from your character pool.
- Add base and upgraded copies separately.
- Include colorless cards in the starting deck.
- Pick relics from the available relic pool.
- Start the run with a custom deck and relic setup instead of the default starter loadout.
Multiplayer Notes
- Custom rules sync across multiplayer lobbies.
- Quick Restart supports multiplayer runs.
- Core UI and information features are designed to stay useful in both solo and multiplayer play.

Changelog 1.0.7
- Compact relic drawer disabled by default. You can use Hide Relic Owerflow mod for this feature.
- Some multiplayer sync optimizations.
- Fixed top half screen Click issue when Reli Drawer off
Changelog 1.0.6
- Added optional ModConfig support for STS2Plus. STS2Plus settings now appear inside the community ModConfig menu when ModConfig is installed.
- Added in-menu toggles for the main STS2Plus features. You can now enable or disable supported features without editing config files manually.
- Added clearer setting descriptions. Each ModConfig entry now explains whether the change applies immediately, on the next tooltip refresh, on the next F5 press, or on the next game launch.
- Fixed Quick Restart in singleplayer. Pressing F5 now starts a fresh new run with the current character, ascension, acts, and modifier setup instead of reloading the existing save.
- Fixed Quick Restart in multiplayer. Pressing F5 now starts a fresh new multiplayer run with the current lobby setup, player characters, ascension, acts, and modifiers instead of loading the old run state.
- Kept ModConfig integration fully external-safe. All compatibility work was added inside STS2Plus only. The external ModConfig mod itself was not modified.
Changelog 1.0.5
- Added a new Build Creator custom rule. Choose your starting deck and relics before the run begins.
- Build Creator now supports base and upgraded card copies separately. You can add normal and upgraded versions of the same card independently.
- Build Creator now includes colorless cards. White/colorless cards can now be added to custom starting decks.
- Reworked the Build Creator UI. The layout was rebuilt into a cleaner multi-column grid with larger containers and better card presentation.
- Added splash screen skipping. The mod now skips the intro logo flow and startup disclaimer to reach the main menu faster.
- Fixed relic screen tooltip layering. Relic information tooltips are now forced above the relic screen UI so their descriptions remain readable.
- General Build Creator polish and compatibility improvements. Improved card selection flow, custom deck application behavior, and overall usability.

UI and Polish
- Added safer fallback icon mappings for MoreRules top bar icons.
