  Description

dubiousQOL is a collection of quality-of-life improvements for Slay the Spire 2. Every feature is individually toggleable from
an in-game settings panel — no config files to edit. Nothing affects gameplay balance; this is purely QOL.

  ---
  Installation Instructions

  1. Download the mod files.
  2. Extract the contents into your Slay the Spire 2 mods/ folder:
  C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Slay the Spire 2\mods\
  3. You should end up with mods/dubiousQOL.dll and mods/dubiousQOL.pck in that folder.
  4. Launch the game — all features are enabled by default.
  5. To toggle features on/off, go to Settings > dubiousQOL Mod Configuration.

  ---
  Main Features

  Mod Config UI

A native-styled configuration panel accessible from the game's Settings screen. Toggle any feature on or off without editing
files. Features with additional settings (like Stats Tracker) have their own detail pages with sliders, inputs, and a "Restore
Defaults" button. The UI clones the game's own settings components — tabs, tickboxes, buttons — so it looks and feels like
  part of the base game.

  ---
  Act Name Display

Shows the current act name — Overgrowth, Underdocks, Hive, or Glory — as styled text next to the top-bar boss icon. Each act
gets its own custom font and color theme:
  - Overgrowth — green, handwritten style
  - Underdocks — blue, beachy script
  - Hive — golden yellow, clean serif
  - Glory — purple, bold display font

The label auto-sizes to fit and sits inline with the existing top-bar icons so nothing gets pushed around.

  ---
  Deck Search

Adds a live-filtering search bar to the mid-run deck view. Start typing and cards filter instantly by name or description
  text. Also supports keyword shortcuts:
  - Rarity: common, uncommon, rare
  - Type: attack, skill, power, status, curse

When "Show Upgrades" is toggled on, searches match against upgraded card text too. Uses the game's own search bar component
  for a seamless look.

  ---
  Incoming Damage Display

Shows predicted incoming damage as a styled label next to your health bar during your turn. Two separate readouts:
  - "X DMG" (red) — total incoming attack damage minus your predicted block
  - "-X HP" (purple) — unblockable HP loss from cards like Burn, Decay, Regret, etc.

The calculation accounts for your powers (Plating, Frost Orbs, Orichalcum, Cloak Clasp), enemy intent modifiers (Intangible,
Tungsten Rod, Guarded, etc.), and familiar absorption (Osty). Only appears when there's actual incoming damage on your turn.

  Map History

Saves a snapshot of each act's map during your run, then lets you revisit them from the Run History screen.

During a run: The mod automatically captures each act's map layout, your path through it, and any sharpie drawings you made —
  no action needed.

After a run: A map-scroll button appears on the Run History screen next to the share button. Click it to open a full map
  viewer that shows:
  - The actual map layout with all node types, paths, and backgrounds — pixel-perfect reproduction using the game's own map
  renderer
  - Your visited path highlighted
  - All your sharpie drawings preserved (including eraser strokes)
  - Side arrows to cycle between acts
  - Hover tooltips on visited nodes showing floor number and per-player combat stats

Only available for runs completed after installing the mod — older runs won't have map data.

  Rarity Display

Color-codes relic and potion names by their rarity throughout the compendium and hover tips:
  - Common — grey
  - Uncommon — green
  - Rare — gold
  - Shop — light blue
  - Event — purple
  - Ancient — deep orange
  - Starter — parchment brown

Each relic/potion title in hover tips also gets a small colored diamond icon next to it for quick visual identification.

  ---
  Skip Splash Screen

Skips the MegaCrit logo splash on startup so you go straight to the main menu. That's it. Requires a game restart to take
  effect.

  ---
  Stats Tracker

A real-time overlay tracking per-player stats during runs across three metrics:
  - Damage Dealt (red bars)
  - Block Gained (blue bars)
  - Damage Taken (mauve bars)

Each metric can be viewed at three scope levels — Combat (current fight), Act (current act), and Run (entire run) — and
toggled between Per Turn averages and Cumulative totals.

  The overlay features:
  - Draggable title bar — position it wherever you want
  - Resizable from edges and corners (min 250px wide)
  - Collapsible to a slim summary bar showing the current scope/metric
  - Per-player horizontal bars sorted by value, with character icons and formatted numbers
  - Full multiplayer support — shows all players with their Steam names
  - Toggle visibility with F8; auto-hides during pause/settings screens

Configurable settings: Default width (200–600px) and top margin (0–300px) adjustable from the config UI.

Requires a game restart to take effect.

  ---
  Unified Save Path

Forces modded and unmodded saves to use the same save folder. Without this, the game creates a separate modded/ subfolder for
modded runs, meaning your progress and run history are split between two locations. With this enabled, everything lives in one
  place.

Requires a game restart to take effect.

  ---
  Win Streak Display

Shows your current win streak as an animated flame badge on the top bar, next to the act name. The flame displays your streak
number in its center with "WINSTREAK" arced around the top. Only appears when your streak reaches 3 or higher.
