Starter (Basic) cards for Draft / Sealed Deck / Insanity Custom mode—plus optional rewards & shops modifiers.
Description
Draft+ adds a companion modifier called Starter+. Pick it together with Draft, Sealed Deck, or Insanity to let starter (Basic) cards show up in that mode's Neow card flow.
With Character Cards enabled, each extra character you turn on has its starting deck merged into the shared starter set used by Draft+, Starter Rewards, and Starter Shops—so those starters can show up in the draft pool (and in rewards/shops if those modifiers are on).
Beyond Neow, the mod adds two optional toggles: Starter Rewards lets starter cards appear in combat card rewards, and Starter Shops lets starter cards appear in merchant offers under the mod’s shop rules. Turn on only what you want; nothing forces rewards or shops if you only care about the draft.
Minus Strike & Defend (optional): if you use Starter+, Starter Rewards, or Starter Shops, this removes Basic Strike/Defend cards from those eligible pools.
Pandora’s Box: With Draft / Sealed Deck / Insanity enabled, Pandora’s Box cannot be offered by Darv. With this mod, it can be offered only if your deck still has at least one Strike or Defend.

- Install BaseLib: https://www.nexusmods.com/slaythespire2/mods/103
- Install Draft+: Nexus — Draft+. Required layout (folder DraftPlus= manifest id): …/Slay the Spire 2/mods/DraftPlus/DraftPlus.dll, DraftPlus.json, optional DraftPlus.pdb. Release zips are usually flat (those files at the zip root); unpack so you get that tree.
- Play: in Mod Settings, make sure Draft+ is enabled. Then start Custom mode, pick Draft, Sealed Deck, or Insanity, and tick Starter+ as well.
Main features
- Starter+ — pick with Draft / Sealed Deck / Insanity to allow starter cards in that Neow.
- Starter Rewards — starter cards can appear in combat card rewards.
- Starter Shops — starter cards can appear in merchant shops.
- Minus Strike & Defend — removes Basic Strike/Defend from Starter+ / Rewards / Shops pools.
