Description

Sadida is the nature god from the Krosmaga card game, reimagined as a playable character for Slay the Spire 2.

Where most STS2 characters win by chaining attacks or stacking Block, Sadida wins by filling the board with dolls, pets that do the fighting for you while your cards buff them, protect them, sacrifice them, or chain their effects. Every doll is its own creature with its own HP pool, its own attack intent, and its own slot in your synergy math: the more dolls you have alive, the more each of your cards does.
Also has a mod-specific in-game settings panel, custom UI, and more. Expect rough edges, especially on art, but the core mechanics are stable.

Main features
  • Summoner playstyle. Combat revolves around getting dolls onto the board and keeping them alive. Cards amplify, sacrifice, or chain around the dolls you have in play.
  • Independent damage model. When an enemy hits you, Sadida and every living doll each take the full damage independently — each creature soaks with its own Block pool. Dolls do NOT tank for Sadida (unlike Osty), so keeping them alive via Block, heals, and Mend is the core survival puzzle.
  • Multiplayer Compatible. Great care is taken to making sure multiplayer stays compatible even with the extended functionality of base game mechanics.
  • In-game mod settings panel. Reached via Settings → Mod Configuration → Sadida. Ships with a "Always show Doll HP bars" toggle (otherwise bars only show on hover) and a Sadida SFX volume slider layered on top of the game's SFX bus. More options will land here as the mod grows.

Installation instructions
  1. Install BaseLib first, this mod depends on it. See Requirements below for the link.
  2. Download the latest Sadida.zip from the Files tab here.
  3. Unzip it and drop the Sadida/ folder into your Slay the Spire 2 mods/ directory. The final layout should look like:

  Slay the Spire 2/
   └── mods/
       ├── BaseLib/
       │   ├── BaseLib.dll
       │   ├── BaseLib.pck
       │   └── BaseLib.json
       └── Sadida/
           ├── Sadida.dll
           ├── Sadida.pck
           └── Sadida.json

  1. If the mods/ folder doesn't exist next to the game's executable, create it.
  2. Launch Slay the Spire 2 — Sadida will appear on the character-select screen, and both mods will show up in the in-game mod list.

Lag? BaseLib opens an on-screen debug console that may be open. If you see framerate drops, disable it from the in-game settings menu.

Requirements
  • Slay the Spire 2 — latest Steam build.
  • BaseLib (required dependency). BaseLib is a separate shared mod that every C# STS2 character mod uses. Install it into <Slay the Spire 2>/mods/BaseLib/ alongside this mod.
  • BaseLib on Nexus Mods →

Sadida will refuse to load if BaseLib is missing or out of date.
