UI and quality-of-life overhaul for Slay the Spire 2 | v2.0.3-beta
CznStyleUI rebuilds major menus and combat presentation in a Chaos Zero Nightmare-inspired style while making important battle information easier to read.

This mod does not change card values, relic or power effects, combat rules, RNG, save data, balance, or multiplayer synchronization.

Main Features
Settings
Options are included in CZN Mod Config > Shared Settings > Interface Settings. No separate configuration mod is required.
Each area is independent, so you can keep the card frames and leave the rest of the interface untouched. Disabling a parent preserves its child choices while disabling those controls; disabled menu areas install no area-owned hooks and warm no area-only assets.
Compatibility and Safety
Latest Update - v2.0.3-beta
Restart the game after updating.
The core feature set is ready for regular play. The beta label remains while broader localization, resolution, controller, and mod-combination testing continues.

CznStyleUI rebuilds major menus and combat presentation in a Chaos Zero Nightmare-inspired style while making important battle information easier to read.
Compatible with Slay the Spire 2 Beta v0.111.0. The current Major branch is not supported.
This mod does not change card values, relic or power effects, combat rules, RNG, save data, balance, or multiplayer synchronization.

Main Features
- Menus: singleplayer, multiplayer, Compendium, save profiles, Settings, Pause, buttons, and popups, rebuilt in the CZN style with full-resolution artwork and granular replacement controls.
- Merchant: CZN room, character, purchase page, pointing hand and Japanese voice, with an independent restart-required switch.
- Archives and fonts: potion, relic and enchantment catalogs; game-wide CZN Main Text / STS2 Original selection with five-language support.
- Cards: CZN frames with clear rarity, cost, and type, plus selection and play feedback.
- Combat: health and block, energy and piles, turn banners, damage numbers, targeting, icons, and UI sounds.
- Damage prediction: outgoing card damage and incoming enemy damage, shown on the health bars themselves. Common relic, power, Frost Orb, Block, supported Hextech defenses, and Die For You / Osty redirection are accounted for; anything uncertain is left blank instead of guessed.
- Multiplayer: teammate incoming damage, with an optional fixed health-bar width.
Settings
Options are included in CZN Mod Config > Shared Settings > Interface Settings. No separate configuration mod is required.
- Text Font: CZN Main Text (default) or STS2 Original, across ordinary game text including cards and menus. Restart required. Text baked into images stays unchanged.
- Interface Replacement: Menus, Combat, Map, Merchant Room and the credit icon as separate switches. Menus owns six child switches: Game Modes, Save Management, Compendium, Settings Screen, Pause Menu, and Buttons & Popups. Restart-bound replacements are clearly labeled.
- Cards: card frames and the card play effect.
- Combat Details: energy layout, an optional maximum-energy readout, and damage prediction.
- Audio: interaction sounds.
- Multiplayer: fixed health bars and width.
Each area is independent, so you can keep the card frames and leave the rest of the interface untouched. Disabling a parent preserves its child choices while disabling those controls; disabled menu areas install no area-owned hooks and warm no area-only assets.
Compatibility and Safety
- Game version: compatible with Beta v0.111.0.
- Multiplayer: everything this mod does is local and read-only. Other players do not need it.
- Card-art and character mods: compatible by design; card portraits and character models are not replaced.
- SkinChanger: use version 1.0.7 or newer. Settings for the currently selected skin are supported; inactive skins may be absent from CZN Mod Config.
- Damage prediction: mods using standard STS2 damage hooks are supported. Hextech's deterministic Mayhem, Grounded, Mental Shield, Compensation/Doom, and Osty interactions are covered without executing Hextech gameplay code. Incoming HP-loss forecasts do not cover MinionLib-based mods such as Shadowverse Beyond (SV Mod), which hook damage differently; every other feature still works with them.
- Possible conflicts: other mods replacing the same menus, card frames, combat HUD, or targeting.
Latest Update - v2.0.3-beta
- Stabilized card-title sizing, including Chinese titles, by measuring the full name against card-local bounds instead of relying on the native cached font size.
- Card titles are remeasured after font changes and visual updates; the original sizing policy is restored when CZN card frames are released.
- Preserved long-name fitting, proportional outlines and the previous card-type text fixes.
Restart the game after updating.
The core feature set is ready for regular play. The beta label remains while broader localization, resolution, controller, and mod-combination testing continues.
