Installation
Create a mods/ folder inside the installation directory if it doesn't exist yet. Extract the downloaded zip so the folder structure looks like:
Windows: mods/MoreSaveSlots/ Mac: SlayTheSpire2.app/Contents/MacOS/mods/MoreSaveSlots/
Launch the game with mods enabled.(you also need Baselib)
Uninstalling
Slay the Spire 2 automatically stores modded saves separately from vanilla saves — this happens as soon as any mod is active, regardless of whether More Save Slots is installed. Your vanilla saves are never touched.
What happens when you remove this mod:
If you want to keep access to your runs, either keep the mod installed or back up the save files manually before removing it.

More Save Slots and Profile Renaming
Ever wanted to dedicate a save slot to a specific test run, challenge, or themed playthrough — and actually remember which one is which? This mod lets you name your save slots and assign them a clear purpose, so your runs stay organized exactly the way you want.
Features
- More Save Slots — You can add and Delete as many slots as you like.
- Slot Renaming — Name each save slot individually so you always know what's inside: dedicate one to a specific challenge run, a test build, or a themed playthrough — at a glance.
- Multiplayer Co-Player Info — When resuming an unfinished multiplayer run, you can see the name and profile of your co-player directly in the save slot, so you know exactly which run belongs to which group.
- Horizontal Scrolling — The UI scales cleanly with additional slots, so the interface stays usable no matter how many saves you have.
- UI Fixes — Several minor interface issues with the vanilla save/profile screen have been addressed.
- Client-Side Only — No host-side changes required. Works seamlessly in both singleplayer and multiplayer sessions.

- Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Slay the Spire 2\
- Mac: /Users/<USERNAME>/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Slay the Spire 2/

Uninstalling
Slay the Spire 2 automatically stores modded saves separately from vanilla saves — this happens as soon as any mod is active, regardless of whether More Save Slots is installed. Your vanilla saves are never touched.
What happens when you remove this mod:
- Disabling mods entirely brings you back to your vanilla save slots as normal.
- Your modded save files are not deleted when you uninstall this mod — they remain in the folder structure on disk.
- However, the additional slots created by this mod will no longer be accessible in-game without it. The files stay safe, they just won't show up.
If you want to keep access to your runs, either keep the mod installed or back up the save files manually before removing it.
