Playstyles / 玩法特色

• Rage & Finishers / 怒氣與終結技： build Rage through combat and spend it to reduce the Energy cost of Finishers. Choose when to hold your resources and when to commit to a powerful attack.
• Hew & Exhaust / 破碎與消耗： Exhaust Hew to advance its forms. Combine Burn and Ignite effects to turn Exhaust into another part of your attack sequence.
• Riposte & Return Blade / 反擊與回刃： answer enemy attacks with Riposte and gain Block from your attacks through Return Blade. Riposte does not consume or benefit from Vigor.

Included

• 98 cards in Nine's character pool, plus 9 generated card entries. This includes starting, Ancient and multiplayer-only cards; not every card appears in ordinary rewards.
• Character-specific relics and 4 potions.
• Japanese voice, three character-select background styles, combat animations and effects, and ultimate / collapse presentations.
• Multiplayer support and cooperative cards.
• Text in English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Voice in Japanese.

Compatibility and Installation

• Version: v1.1.1-beta, targeting STS2 public-beta v0.111.0.
• No required library Mods: no BaseLib, RitsuLib or separate CznCore installation is needed to play.
• Multiplayer: all participants must use the same Nine Mod version.
• CznStyleUI and CznMainMenu are optional, separate Mods.

Close the game, extract CznNineCharacter into the game's mods folder, then restart, enable the Mod and select Nine. Keep all three files together and avoid duplicate manual and Workshop installations. Use a new run when moving from development builds with renamed card IDs.

Settings and Feedback
Use CZN Mod Config to adjust voice and combat presentation to your preference. High-effect scenes and first-time asset loading may perform differently across systems. When reporting an issue, include the card name, upgrade state, game and Mod versions, other installed Mods, and a screenshot or godot.log.

Balance and compatibility remain under Beta testing.

Optional Telemetry
Optional card balance telemetry requires RitsuLib. Error diagnostics are not uploaded. RitsuLib is not required to play.

Design Inspirations / 設計靈感與致敬
奈音的卡牌設計融入了幾部喜愛作品的元素：怒氣系統參考《降妖散記》中莫三的玩法；角色戰鬥與招式靈感則包含《Final Fantasy VII》的克勞德、《艾爾登法環》，以及《烙印勇士》的格斯等。希望把這些熟悉的元素，轉化為奈音在 STS2 中的卡牌與戰鬥風格。

Design inspirations include Mo San’s Rage system from Yao-Guai Hunter, Cloud from Final Fantasy VII, Elden Ring, and Guts from Berserk, among others, reinterpreted through Nine’s cards and combat style in STS2.

AI Assistance, Credits and Disclaimer
Character artwork, audio and animations are based on Chaos Zero Nightmare assets. Card illustrations and selected custom icons include AI-assisted artwork reviewed by Pelleas. Codex and Claude assisted with code, packaging and documentation.
