STS2 uses separate save files when you're playing with and without mods.
Recommended: Use the UnifiedSavePath mod (credit to Jiesi Luo) to always use the same save file regardless of whether you're playing with or without mods.
Otherwise: If this is the first time you're using mods, and you want to use your regular save file, you'll have to manually copy over your unmodded save files into the modded save files directory.

LAST UPDATED JUNE 18TH
Major Features
- Remember Previous Target: Card and potion targeting now defaults to the last enemy you selected.
- Instantly Confirm Cards: Discard, Exhaust, and other actions now confirm instantly with one press.
- Instantly Play Cards: Cards and potions are now played instantly with one press, whenever possible.
- Controller Vibration: Controller vibrates when attacking enemies, taking damage, and more.
- Hide Card Tooltips: Hide card tooltips during combat, so they no longer cover monster HP bars.
- Some of these features can be disabled through mod settings using ModConfig.
Other Features
- Left Joystick Bugfix: Fixed a game bug where if you turn on your controller after game startup, the left joystick stops working until you restart the game.
- Go to Relics: Hold the potion shortcut button for 0.2 seconds to immediately go to your relics.
- Relics Wrap Around: Pressing left on your first relic brings you to the last relic, and vice-versa. Also works for teammates' potions and relics.
- Upgrade Screen Wrap Around: Pressing up on any topmost card on the upgrade screen brings you to the bottommost card.
- Removed Rest Site Delay: Removed the 1 second animation delay that prevents inputs when entering a rest site. This lets you immediately select the "Smith" option even as the screen is loading.
- Character Selection Wrap Around: Pressing left when hovering Ironclad brings you directly to Random, and vice-versa.
- Menu and Settings Wrap Around: Pressing up at the top of menus or settings brings you to the very bottom, and vice-versa.
- Works with latest STS2 versions: The mod works with the latest public STS2 version and beta STS 2 version.
Installation
- Navigate to the STS2 directory. For Windows, the default is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Slay the Spire 2
- Create a folder named mods in this directory.
- Extract the entire SlayWithController folder into the mods folder.
