Silent After v0.106.0: Follow Through Becomes Scare, Predator Drops to Common

v0.106.0 reshuffles Silent's draw spine: Follow Through is reworked and renamed Scare (now Uncommon), Predator moves to Common, and Pounce gets a buff. Here is how to redraft.

The three Silent changes in v0.106.0

Follow Through is reworked and renamed Scare. Rarity moves Common → Uncommon. Mega Crit did not publish the full new effect text in the public notes — treat the new card as a fresh draft pickup and verify the in-game text the first time you see it.

Predator drops Uncommon → Common. This is the big draft-rate change: Predator is now realistic to find in Act 1 card rewards, not a luck-of-the-draw payoff card.

Pounce gains damage 12(18) → 14(20). A straight numeric buff to one of Silent's mid-cost attacks.

  • Follow Through → Scare; Common → Uncommon, effect reworked.
  • Predator: Uncommon → Common.
  • Pounce: 12(18) → 14(20) damage.

Predator is now an Act 1 plan

A Common Predator changes how Silent decks open. Previously you drafted Backflip / Prepared as primary Act 1 draw and hoped Predator showed up in Act 2. Now Predator is a realistic Act 1 reward — and once you have one in hand, the entire deck plan can lean into Sly tempo earlier.

Concretely: if you see Predator in your first three card rewards, treat that as a soft commitment signal. Bias toward Sly cards (Acrobatics, Backflip, Tactician) and discard utility on follow-up picks. The deck assembles much faster than it did pre-patch.

  • Predator is now a realistic Act 1 pickup.
  • Seeing Predator early is a soft signal to commit to Sly tempo.
  • Pair with Backflip, Acrobatics, Tactician.

Scare and Pounce: re-evaluate your finishers

Scare is a reworked card in a slot that used to be a draft-rate trap. Until the community profiles the new effect, do not assume it plays like Follow Through — read the in-game text the first time it appears in a reward. The Common → Uncommon move suggests it is meant to feel like a stronger, less universal pickup.

Pounce at 14(20) is now one of the cleanest mid-cost Silent attacks. If you previously skipped Pounce in favor of cheaper draw or Shiv generation, the buff alone justifies a reconsider — especially in decks that lack a reliable scaling source and need consistent per-card damage.

  • Scare: read in-game text first, do not assume Follow Through behavior.
  • Pounce: now one of the strongest mid-cost Silent attacks.
  • Reconsider Pounce in decks that lack scaling.
