What are Slay the Spire 2 mods?
Mods are community-made add-ons that change cards, relics, characters, UI, or game rules. Most are distributed through Steam Workshop or Nexus Mods.
Do mods disable Steam achievements?
Yes. Launching STS2 with any active Workshop mod turns off Steam achievement tracking. Use a vanilla profile for achievement runs.
Are STS2 mods safe to install?
Workshop mods are the safest path — version-tracked and auto-updated. Always back up saves before testing experimental Nexus mods.
Do mods work in co-op multiplayer?
All four players must load the same mods in the same order. BetterSpire2 Lite is one of the few mods designed to be multiplayer-safe.
