Description

Analytics Telemetry

Slay the Spire 2 — read-only run & combat analytics. Does not change gameplay.

Summary
Append-only NDJSON session logs plus an in-game Analytics overlay: charts, counters, drill-downs (Overview, Run, Act, Combat, Hands, Multiplayer), and optional BaseLib settings (live metrics, session file tail, export). Built for streamers, researchers, and anyone who wants numbers without touching card balance.

Requirements
  • BaseLib — BaseLib-StS2 releases. Install the BaseLib folder into Slay the Spire 2/mods/and enable it before this mod (dependency in AnalyticsTelemetry.json).
  • Extract this download so you have mods/AnalyticsTelemetry/AnalyticsTelemetry.dlland AnalyticsTelemetry.json(and .pckonly if the file page says so).

Install
  • Unzip into mods/AnalyticsTelemetry/(same layout as other Megadot mods).
  • Enable BaseLib, then enable Analytics Telemetry in the in-game mod list.

In-game
  • Analytics button — top-right; opens the metrics panel (dropdown views, timeseries, bars, counters, hands strip, optional full text + recent NDJSON preview).
  • Settings → Mods — deeper Live metrics tab (same visuals, auto-refresh), Session files tab (tail of saved *.ndjson), optional Export (off until you configure it).

Where data goes
  • Sessions: under the game’s user data folder, e.g. …/SlayTheSpire2/AnalyticsTelemetry/sessions/run-*.ndjson(exact root follows Godot user://for your OS).
  • Run saves are read from your Steam profile current_run*.saveto enrich map/gold style events; Steam account folder names are hashed in payloads, not copied verbatim.
  • Remote export only runs if you turn it on and supply a URL in mod settings.

Compatibility
Targets current Slay the Spire 2 + Megadot modding stack. Game or BaseLib updates can require a mod refresh — check the file description or source repo for the latest build.

Troubleshooting
  • Mod greyed out / won’t load — enable BaseLib first.
  • “Loaded 1 mods” with two enabled — usually a BaseLib assembly version mismatch; use the same BaseLib.dllthe game loads from mods/BaseLib/, not a mismatched NuGet build. Check user://logs/godot*.logfor load errors.
