Description
Unified Save Path
Slay the Spire 2 normally routes modded saves to a separate directory (modded/profile1), meaning any progress made while mods are active is isolated from your vanilla save. This mod removes that separation, merging both paths into one.
What it does
How it works
Patches UserDataPathProvider.IsRunningModded to always return false, so the game uses the same profile directory regardless of whether mods are loaded.
Installation
Compatibility
Note
Since this merges your modded and vanilla saves, any progress made while using gameplay-altering mods will persist in your main save. Use at your own discretion.
Only tested in windows + single player.

What it does
- Unifies the save directory for modded and vanilla play
- Character unlocks, epoch progress, and run history are shared across both modes
- No gameplay content is modified — only the save path routing is changed
How it works
Patches UserDataPathProvider.IsRunningModded to always return false, so the game uses the same profile directory regardless of whether mods are loaded.
Installation
- Extract the zip into your game's mods/ folder (e.g., Steam\steamapps\common\Slay the Spire 2\mods\)
- You should have UnifiedSavePath.dll and UnifiedSavePath.pck in the mods folder
- Launch the game and click "Yes" when asked to load mods
Compatibility
- Works with the game's native mod loading system — no external mod loader required
- Compatible with all other mods
