Description
SpeedX — Up to 20x Speed for Slay the Spire 2
Tired of waiting? A 40-minute run has nearly half its time spent on animations. SpeedX compresses all that dead time at the code level. Once you try it, there's no going back.
More Mods by PiPiFanDev
- QuickLink — Multiplayer quick rewind. Host-controlled checkpoint rollback with auto-rejoin and auto-ready.
- Rewind — Single-player turn rewind with room checkpoints, fair mode, and NoUndo badge.
- Skada: Damage Meter — Real-time combat analytics. Track damage, block, overkill, rDPS, card efficiency, and more.
- ModConfig — Universal mod settings framework. Adds a "Mods" tab to the game's settings panel.
Speed
- Global Speed Boost — 2x to 20x adjustable (default 10x). Saves 10-15 minutes per run.
- Skip Banners — Enemy turn / Player turn / Combat start / Floor transition banners all skipped. Saves ~5 seconds per turn.
- Card Fly Boost — Play, discard, shuffle, and power arc animations at accelerated speed.
- Skip Hit Pause — No more screen freeze on each hit. Multi-hit attacks feel buttery smooth.
- Timer Boost — Shorten timer-based effect delays during combat.
- VFX Boost — Speed up floating damage/heal numbers, bezier trails, and card trails.
- Animation Boost — Speed up character and monster spine animations (optional, may look unnatural).
- Auto-End Turn — Automatically ends turn when no playable cards remain. Configurable delay (0.1-1.0s).
- Lethal Guard — Auto-End pauses if ending now would be lethal. Simulates the real combat damage pipeline: Doom, end-of-turn self-damage, enemy attacks (accounting for block, Intangible, Buffer, Hardened Shell, Tungsten Rod, and more). You'll never accidentally kill yourself.
- Potion Awareness — Don't auto-end turn if you still have usable potions.
- Auto-Loot — Auto-collects gold and potions (if slots available) after combat. Cards and relics are left for you to choose.
- Auto-Proceed — Auto-clicks Proceed after combat rewards, treasure chests, and events. Waits for chest rewards and follow-up relics before proceeding. Skips shop (you need to make decisions there).
- Auto-Target — Auto-selects the only enemy when playing single-target cards. No need to click.
- Quick Play (Space) — Press Space to instantly play the hovered card without dragging. Key is rebindable via ModConfig.
- Time Saved Tracker — Top-left overlay shows how much time you've saved this session. Watching it climb is satisfying.
- Status Indicators — Shows active speed features and multiplayer boost status at a glance.
- Configurable Overlay — Toggle visibility, adjust font size (10-24px).
Every feature has an independent toggle. Press F9 to open the built-in settings menu.
- 22 configurable options: 12 toggles, 3 sliders, 5 keybinds, 2 direct-toggle hotkeys.
- Direct toggle hotkeys — Bind keys to toggle Speed Boost, Hit Pause, or Auto-End without opening the menu.
- Install ModConfig (optional) for all options directly in the game's settings panel.
- Fully compatible — you at 20x, teammate at 3x, someone without the mod, all fine.
- MP Timer Boost — Core speed acceleration works in real multiplayer (on by default). May desync if players use very different speed settings.
- On the beta branch (public-beta), mods don't need to be installed by all players. On the stable branch, all players need the same mods.
- Switch to beta: Steam → right-click game → Properties → Betas → select public-beta.
- Download and extract the zip.
- Copy the SpeedX folder into your game's mods/ directory (next to SlayTheSpire2.exe).
- Launch the game. It will prompt you to enable mods on first run — say yes.
Compatibility
- Works with both the stable and beta branches of the game.
- Works alongside other mods (Skada, ModConfig, Rewind, QuickLink, etc.)
- No game files modified — uses HarmonyLib runtime patching.
